CCC Soccer Gala Day
Our Year 5 and 6 students recently took part in the Central Coast Cluster Soccer Gala Day held at both Pat Morley Oval for the girls and EDSAAC Oval for the boys. The day began with the threat of rain and a postponement, but luckily the sun came out and the kids were able to compete. Like any Gala day, the emphasis was on participation of a certain sport and the chance to connect with our fellow Central Coast Catholic School Students.!
We had several boys and girls team come first or second in their pool which was excellent to see! But what was most impressive was the sportsmanship on display and the manner in which our students conducted themselves. Every student who competed on the day should be very proud!
A big thank you to the parents who helped manage teams on the day. Your contribution is so important in giving the students the chance to enjoy these types of days. It’s another sign of the wonderful community we have here at Holy Cross. The day was a huge success! The day ended with rain as soon as we left. What perfect timing
