Holy Cross Rugby League

Last Thursday, Holy Cross Primary School sent a senior team to compete in a state-wide NRL Competition. (for our district, the Woy Woy Cup.)  The team faced some of our other Catholic Schools from the Central Coast, St John the Baptist Woy Woy and Our Lady of the Rosary Wyoming.  We ended the day with two losses, our second game an agonising 12-10 defeat.  Whilst we weren’t triumphant on the scoreboard, it was a positive experience for the boys as they improved greatly throughout the day, helped support each other and displayed excellent sportsmanship along the way.  Well done boys on being great ambassadors of our school!!
